Walker's Point Condos is a small, 12 unit complex with a great combination of features most Auburn apartments just can't match.  These features include no upstairs neighbors, very, very large bedrooms, and a functioning wood-burning fireplace.  These units are just over 1,000 sf, which is very large for a 2 bedroom apartment in Auburn.  Right next door to The Columns, the neighborhood offers a GREAT mix of apartments and older homes, and is just a short walk to the Auburn campus as well as Downtown Auburn and the great mix of shopping and dining options available.

We bought this whole complex a few years back, and shut it down for the summer while we ripped out everything and upgraded the floors, cabinets, appliances, AC, doors, etc.  When we were done, we sold the 8 units we had offered for sale in less than a week.  That marked the beginning of a new era at Walker's Point, and we have had no trouble renting them ever since.  Each unit has a laundry are off the kitchen, and includes a washer & dryer.  Behind each unit there is a small patio, which gives each tenant a little bit of private outdoor space and room for some chairs and a grill.

As much as any of our other locations, the tenants at Walker's Point seem to love it.  In fact, our last 3 tenants left because they either were moving out of Auburn, or they were moving into one of our other units.  It is a great mix of privacy, space, and location, and grown-up atmosphere, while being priced in line with other less spacious, less refined apartments in Auburn.  For those interested in buying this unit, you might want to know that our last buyer added a complete second bathroom on the top floor behind the existing full bath for only $5,000.  This turned his unit into a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, and increased his value and the potential rent at the same time.  Over the years, we have sold 11 of the 12 units at Walker's Point to other families and investors, and so we only have one unit for rent or for sale.  Even with somewhat steady turnover, we have not had a vacancy that we did not plan for in several years.  Call any time to check availability.
